Adjudicator Training and Certification
VCDA offers adjudicator training at least once a year. Visit this registration link if you are interested in participating. Those who have at least five years of experience as a choral director are eligible for certification. Others may attend to gain more insight into the process.
There is a fee of $25 to participate. Participants will receive a link to the Zoom session, payment instructions, and the documents used in the training.
In addition to the Zoom meeting there is a requirement to complete a final project to receive a certificate of completion and to be placed on the trained adjudicator list. It is highly recommended to have at least one judge who has completed the training on the panel of judges for Choral Assessment.
Those who have previously completed the training and need to renew may choose to either attend the class or complete the project to be re-certified. Please contact Annabelle Mills, annabelle.mills14@gmail.com with any questions.
